I really didn't think about how difficult it was at the time as I felt like anything I would try to draw would be too difficult... I do not yet feel comfortable trying to create art. So I chose the hamster as something I liked to look at and went from there. :)
That looks interesting. Why did you choose the hamster over any other object. That seems like a complicated choice for a first try.
